Christmas gifts converted into medical research
BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking allocates its budget for corporate Christmas gifts for its clients to social action instead, and has been doing so for several years. The bank pursues this policy in 20 countries all over the world.
BNP Paribas has for many years been contributing to medical research through the Institut Pasteur, a private non-profit foundation whose fundamental aim is to combat highly infectious diseases by means of research, education and public health.
In Spain, BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking collaborated in 2014 with the University of Navarre’s CIMA (Centre for Applied Medical Research) to prevent liver cancer in patients chronically infected with the Hepatitis C virus.
