BNP Paribas in Spain About BNP Paribas

Support for the restoration of artworks

BNP Paribas supports art restoration projects in the communities where it operates, aware of the importance of culture as part of a society’s historical inheritance.

So, in 2012, BNP Paribas Spain signed a sponsorship agreement with the MNAC Museum (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya) for the restoration of ‘La Conversión de San Pablo, a work by the Spanish artist Juan Bautista Maíno in the Museum’s collections.

BNP Paribas also collaborated with the purchase of the painting ‘Portrait of girl with dove’ a portrait of Simon Vouet, which acquired the Museo del Prado in 2018 on the occasion of their Bicentennial.

Sponsorship of artists

The BNP Paribas Foundation sponsors new artists all over the world who specialise in innovative disciplines. Dance, circus arts, jazz and classical music are just some of the disciplines the Group supports.

In Spain, BNP Paribas hosts and sponsors concerts and exhibitions on a regular basis, inviting its clients to enjoy the quality of the artists and their works through various events.
