We are recruiting a IT proximity engineer trainee.

Our offices are located in Madrid, Spain. The company brings together over 160+ employees, with expertise in various technologies (Java, .Net, Python, Tibco) and other operational roles (Functional Analyst, Project Manager, Business Analyst). We keep growing!

MISSION 

Within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, we are looking for a trainee within the IDRAS Department to join the team in charge of managing the provisioning, changes, incidents and IT asset management associated with the digital workspace based on Windows, Mac and IOS technologies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • The main responsibilities of the position will be: 
  • Provision of digital workspace tools (laptop, mobile, communication tools, special software needed) for newcomers, following and executing the different steps of the process for the correct configuration of the end-user platform for IT and non-IT collaborators
  • Support the end user in resolving incidents and manage the escalation to level 3 teams in BNPP or Personal Finance
  • Perform digital workspace platform upgrades or migrations, such as switching from Windows to Mac
  • Manage software inventory and product usage audits in scope
  • Manage hardware inventory of laptops and accessories and manage the lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning
  • Manage inventory in conjunction with IT Security and request flow changes from workstation to servers required by users involving proxies or firewalls
  • Contribute and evangelize to users on the correct use of Service Now as a tool to log and monitor all equipment activity
  • Track hardware inventory and purchases

REQUIREMENTS

  • We are looking for a student with a background in computer engineering or telecommunications.
  • We value a first experience in a company
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish will be mandatory
  • French: Optional, nice to have
