ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
Holding a position within the IT Development team of CIB IT Spain as Technical Development lead for a set of local applications, your main responsibility will be to lead developments of java in house local applications on Securities Services business, ensuring continuity and compliance with standards and cyber security rules, guaranteeing the quality of the applications within your scope and managing their maintenance and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and analyze the needs coming from the Business, proposing sustainable solutions, in line with the entity’s development good practices.
• Involve all relevant stakeholders in the process of definition and validation of any new requirement, assessing all potential impacts.
• Guarantees the proper functioning of applications and that they can be maintained and upgraded.
• Reports and alerts on the continuity of the service, deadlines, budget.
• Proposes methods to increase optimization and efficiency.
• Analyses incidents and proposes preventive action plans and areas of improvements.
• Helps to estimate and establish road maps of his scope of applications.
• Ensure the implementation and changes in Production environment and ensure its quality of the SW.
• Follow the go live process, compare the impacts towards expectations and propose adjustments when needed.
• Support the team to achieve commitments.
• Coordinates and/or participates in communities of practice.
• Develops relationships networks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Studies
Bachelor’s Degree (science oriented)
- Experience
Ideally a previous experience (+7 years) in Information Technology.
Experience on a whole live cycle of a development, from the requirements analysis to the development and release on Production environments, support on testing phases.
At least 7 years of experience on java development,
At least 5 years of experience on analysis of a software solution.
At least 5 years of experience on releases on Production environment, production support,
At least 5 years of experience on releases on support on testing phases.
At least 3 years as technical leader of a development team, prioritization of task, estimation of developments, able to guide and assist development teams so they can carry out their day-to-day development.
