We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-Cycle Internship within our M&A European Advisory Group team based in Madrid. 

 

What you can expect:

The intern, within the M&A European Advisory Team, will support in the following activities:

  • Transaction origination, including market selection, investment opportunity analysis, database management, and support in preparing client presentations. 
  • Company valuation, including assistance in conducting valuation analyses of specific companies using the most common valuation methodologies (DCF, transaction multiples, trading multiples)
  • Transaction execution, including support in preparing transaction documents (teasers, information memorandums) and managing data rooms, as an integral member of the execution team.

RESPONSABILITIES

1.      Conduct Comprehensive Due Diligence:
* Perform KYCs on new customers, recertification of existing customers and off-boarding,
* Analyse financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant information to assess risk factors including the identification of the Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs),

* Evaluate the findings of due diligence investigations to assess potential risks and provide actionable recommendations to management,
* Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that due diligence processes align with industry regulations and company policies,
* Identify and assess risks associated with specific transactions and propose risk mitigation strategies

3.      Documentation and Reporting:
* Prepare detailed and accurate due diligence reports summarizing findings and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders,
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of due diligence activities, ensuring compliance with record-keeping policies,
* Update and monitor the status of all files in the corresponding tools (SharePoint, JIRA, etc.) assuring that it is accurate daily,
* Report KPIs, 
* Prepare and record-keep minutes of the team meetings

4.      Training:
* Train newcomers with any policy or procedure updates; including performing gap-analysis, documentation collection, KYC assembly in FENERGO, Screening and Investigator,
* Assures and provide training in the different tools and applications currently used by the Madrid KYC Hub when required

5.      Communication and Collaboration:
* Work closely with relationship managers, legal teams, and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary valid information and ensure a coordinated understanding and approach to due diligence,
* Communicate due diligence findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to cross-functional teams, including senior management, 
* Assist the Head of KYC and the KYC Manager/s of the Hub with ad-hoc project

6.      Continuous Improvement:
* Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the due diligence function and update due diligence processes to ensure they align with evolving regulatory requirements, based on technical expertise and precedents,
* Escalate incidences found on a day-to-day to the corresponding teams and monitor till its resolvent

7.      Regulatory Compliance:
* Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations governing the financial industry to ensure due diligence processes align with legal requirements,
* Make sure adequate due diligence and controls are performed to know the customers and how they use the Group’s products and services,

Within our team of c.35 people, you will support Data Scientists and contribute to industrializing the analysis and modelling of structured and unstructured data. You will also contribute to the architecture design of the solution for your project. And you will participate in the team effort in building tools and frameworks to improve efficiency with a focus on delivering high standard code and models.   

You will also be involved in the MLOps activities, especially in deploying and monitoring our ML models in production. You will work closely with Data Scientists to define and operate an AI model lifecycle and to ensure the optimal performance of our portfolio of models.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Integration of machine learning models into business processes, ensuring smooth deployment and effective performance. 
  • Full stack development (front-end/back-end) and architecture design for projects but also development of some API based on common data processing needs

MISSION

MISSION

Artemis is a key platform for data exchange between BNP PF, Group, and external applications:

  • Development, validation, and deployment of interfaces using Tibco technology;
  • Collaboration with the project management team, Maintenance and Management on high-visibility technical matters;
  • Active search for new solutions to meet the needs of clients and the platform;
  • Active participation in technical projects related to obsolescence and IT Risk;
  • Act as a reference for the rest of the team once the necessary knowledge about the platform has been acquired;
  • Representing the platform on the technical side with clients, Management, and other internal teams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Validation of technical requirements to develop interfaces with Tibco technology;
  • Development of new requests and management of enhancements according to requirements outlined in the specifications;
  • Management of necessary documentation for the delivery of the development and testing validation;
  • Deployment in different environments;
  • Performing unit tests of developments;
  • Participate in client meetings clients to solve questions about the developments;
  • Live testing sessions and debugging with clients when required;
  • Support for the development, project management, and support teams;
  • Participation in the preparation of development documentation and in team improvements;
  • Participation in high-visibility and technical platform projects as a referent (e.g., database migrations, Linux, CFT, etc.)

* IT TOOLS

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Tibco is a must;
  • Java development, C#, PHP, (nice to have);
  • Knowledge of file formats: ASCII, EBCDIC, UTF8, PGP, GPG, XML;
  • Knowledge and proved experience in Linux;
  • Familiarity with creating and modifying .sh scripts;
  • Knowledge of CFT, FTP, SFTP, MVS, MQ protocols.

* LANGUAGES

  • Fluent level of English and/or French is a must (B2 or higher)

MISIÓN

Buscamos un/a becario/a con perfil técnico y afinidad por el sector inmobiliario para apoyar al equipo en la carga, mantenimiento y actualización de activos inmobiliarios en nuestro CRM corporativo.

El candidato/a ideal combina rigurosidad técnica, capacidad analítica y atención al detalle, con cierto conocimiento o interés por el mercado inmobiliario terciario (oficinas, retail, etc.)

RESPONSABILIDADES
  • Registrar y actualizar activos inmobiliarios en el CRM (oficinas, edificios en gestión, operaciones, propietarios, etc.).
  • Verificar la integridad y consistencia de los datos cargados.
  • Realizar importaciones masivas desde Excel u otras fuentes.
  • Colaborar en la automatización de procesos y flujos de información en el CRM.
  • Apoyar la limpieza y estructuración de bases de datos de activos.
  • Preparar listados, informes y cruces de datos cuando sea necesario.
  • Mantener coordinación con los equipos de Asset Management e IT para asegurar la calidad de los datos.
 
REQUISITOS
  • Formación universitaria en curso en Ingeniería, ADE, Economía, Informática, Inmobiliaria o similar.
  • Conocimientos sólidos de Excel (tablas, fórmulas, filtros, formatos, importaciones).
  • Familiaridad o interés por el sector inmobiliario de oficinas y naves logísticas
  • Capacidad para trabajar con herramientas de gestión de datos y CRMs.
  • Atención al detalle, método y capacidad de organización.
  • Valorable: conocimientos básicos de automatización o Power Automate, Power BI o macros.

ABOUT THE JOB 

MISSION 

Within BNPP Finance, SALT-R is part of SMR, covering the following global missions:

  • Prepare financial indicators in accordance with the requirements of regulators and standards in force
  • Monitor and steer performance at Group, Division, Group Function level.

SALT-R is more particularly responsible to produce Liquidity and Resolution reporting and indicators, for the Group as well as for sub perimeters, of which the French Liquidity waiver, several geographical areas, and other sub-groups. 

SALT-R is a joint venture between BNP Paribas Finance and ALMT HO, at central level, whose deliverables are mainly intended for:   

  • Externally: the ECB, the SRB and the JST (Joint Supervisory Team, composed ECB and ACPR people) for Regulatory and Supervisory reporting and analysis
  • Internally: the CFO and the General Management of the Group, including for steering issues.

SALT-R has a strong relationship with all the Divisions contributing to Group indicators, covering CIB (Global Markets, Global Banking, BP2S), Domestic Markets and IFS (International Financial Services) as well as ALMT Head Office as a partner and a contributor.  

The main indicators / reporting produced by SALT-R are:

  • LCR: 1 month Short Term Stressed liquidity ratio;
  • Maturity Ladder (bucketed balance sheet)
  • Regulatory Counterbalancing Capacity
  • NSFR: 1 year stable funding ratio
  • Asset Encumbrance
  • TLAC and MREL ratios and associated resolution reporting
  • Wholesale funding indicators
  • Other indicators as concentration, 
  • Deposits & Loans follow up
  • Balance sheet by currency

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

SALT-R Department is at the early stage of its transformation project. Therefore, the job requests profiles looking for challenging situations and creation of new opportunities. Adaptability and relationship skills are even more necessary in the context of work at home due to the sanitary crisis.

He/she will perform:  

  • Internal / external reporting production, analysis, and validation on liquidity & balance sheet resources for Actual and Forecast/Budget exercises
  • Coordination and contribution to ad hoc analysis, regulatory and methodological evolutions, steering studies
  • Process improvements and operational risk reduction by applying new controls, system adaptation
  • Coordination with liquidity stakeholders as Businesses, Regional Finances, ALMT Head Office, Norms, Controls, Risk, and systems (mainly FRESH) departments
  • Promotion of process efficiency, transversality, and digitalization 
  • Involvement in the organization model implementation, cross border and integrated

REQUIREMENTS

Studies

  • Business School or University graduate, master’s in finance/mathematics

Experience

  • Minimum 3/5 years of financial and/or management experience, previous experience in an Audit/Banking/Finance/Regulatory environment is a plus 

Languages

  • English speaking is mandatory 
  • French is a plus

MISSION
 
The treasury specialist is responsible for the operations linked with money management, bank account reconciliation processes and daily monitoring on safekeeping of funds in the Finance Shared Service Center.
 
The duties include being in charge of doing bank accounts reconciliation, to control payments and to monitor the daily process of safekeeping of funds.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES
 

The duties include being in charge of doing bank accounts reconciliation, to control payments and to monitor the daily process of safekeeping of funds.

  • Perform bank reconciliations, analyze transactions, monitor banking activities, and provide supporting documentation. 
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation reports, resolve complex discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and proactively follow up on aged transactions.
  • Payments control: Review all payment transactions to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud. Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation, and data.
  • Monitor the daily cash position across all entities. 
  • Consolidate daily cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity coverage, and alert the management team in case of cash shortfalls or unusual trends.
  • Safekeeping of funds: Perform a four-eyes control verification and maintain appropriate files, reports, and documentation.
  • Contribute to financial audits – internal and external – with documentation required for the auditors to do their job satisfactorily.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets or transversal projects.
