Within the team called *Finance EMEA: Corporate Accounting & Expenses, the candidate would be assigned to different scope such as Fixed Assets & leases, Personnel Expenses, General Expenses, transfer pricing & Tax or Management Accounting.  The team ensures an accurate, reliable and comprehensive set of segmented financial data required for the production of all Reporting streams through a solid control framework that covers oversight on upstream processes, Finance own processes and controls on data quality

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Accountants are involved in the day-to-day maintenance and control of the general ledgers for the entities under their responsibility associated to the assigned profit & loss segment mentioned above. When applicable, they coordinate review and potential adjustments with other teams. Additionally, they will have to ensure quality of data for all Reporting streams and be in charge of performing adjustments when needed in the General ledger.

Holding a position as Finance Data Analyst you will be part of the IT Governance team and your mission will be the global budget management, PnL control and providing vision and monitoring of CIB IT Spain budget as well as the local IT budgets of the locations under the scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 The main responsibilities of the Finance data analyst are:

§Budget data collection and reporting to central IT Teams : Direct staff costs, purchases, indirect costs (premises, local functions, others), Direct expenses (HW & SW) & FTE, Cash & P&L view and cost per head follow-up. The collection of data must be at detailed level and per cost center.

§ Budget monitoring and reporting for the Head of CIB IT Spain: headcounts, mandays, maintenance, investment, and indirect costs. Bringing added value to the reports from Central Finance. KPI reporting. Tracking Actuals vs Budget (€ and Mandays) and accruals. Reporting issues and forecasts, explaining deltas, and ensuring the quality of the information.

§ Serve as a knowledgeable resource and point of contact for budget-related inquiries, being the interface (link) between:
o Local and EMEA Finance (Accounting, Business Controlling, Performance reporting)
o IT Developments teams and the Central IT CIO Offices
o Central CIB IT Q&E  
o Our customers when producing the budget.
o Procurement team

The Finance data analyst will also participate in other important activities:

§ Management and monitoring of the invoices raised by Madrid and Paris IT Cluster as well as the reinvoicing process. She/He must ensure to have the correct beneficiary and the cost center to guarantee an efficient invoicing process.

§ IT Sourcing:
o She/He receives the purchases requests from the locations, IT managers raises the official Purchase Order which is sent to the vendor in line and following the local Procurement procedures.
o She/He reports the purchases in the correct CC and Cost nature.

§ The Financial Data analyst will assess his/her colleagues (IT managers) to report the Purchase orders properly based on the budget. For this he/she will maintain a Golden Source database with the budget and purchasing details.

§ Invoice management:
o Accounts receivable: Responsible for raising the invoices on behalf of the CIB IT Spain and the Paris CIB IT when applicable.
o Accounts payable: He/She will assess his/her colleagues to ensure that the invoices are properly booked (Cost centres, projects, cost natures) and paid in time.
o Any special project or requirement related to the EMEA and/or CIB IT Spain financials .

§ Design and update the procedures of budget and PnL management for the department.

MISSION:

The primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive management accounting/reporting services for ITO (Global Markets (IT/OPS/Drive), Global Banking (IT/OPS), Client Management, CCCO, Production, SSC, BP2S, Management, Quality & Efficiency and ALMT), Other Functions scope to the Territory/functional COO, direct reports, Budget SPOCs and cost center managers.  We support line manager in providing any business partnering required to these remits and any ad hoc tasks

ü Prepare and follow through Budget Transfer/changes in scope

CIB BL Performance Steering is responsible to provide financial indicators monitoring for all CIB activities (Corporate Banking, Global Markets & BP2S).

BP2S Performance Management Steering within CIB BL is in charge of the analysis of the actuals, projections by business line for P&L & Financial indicators.

Oxygen Platform aims at:

o Mutualizing financial, management accounting and liquidity reporting production, both at Central

and at Regional EMEA level, in order to rationalize finance production processes and optimize operational efficiency within a centralized processing center.

o Reinforce the control set-up, both at Central and Regional EMEA level, and reduce the operational

risk.

o Aligning tools, norms & methodologies, processes and deployment of standard CIB Finance applications/systems among the CIB Finance EMEA community.

o Promoting process efficiency and transversally, supporting innovation and developing digitalization, as well as implementing robotics initiatives.

o Strengthening coordination & (2-way) communication among the CIB Finance EMEA community, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

MISSION:

The team member within BP2S PM Division is primarily responsible for providing oversight and control over day-to-day transactions, operations and activities arising from regional production and dialogue with the stakeholders.

Provide regular reports, added-value analysis, comments and create a fluent dialogue with internal client for revenues, expenses, cost of risk, capital and liquidity indicators as well as participate in the preparation of business plans such as Forecast and Budget.

The position is within BP2S Performance Management Division for BP2S Finance HO (Head Office)

located in Madrid, under the supervision of the Head of BP2S Performance Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ü He/she is responsible for day to day operations generated through fluent dialogue

– Implements measures to standardize and strengthen interaction between Regional/Head Office

stakeholders and the Finance Platform

– Preparation and Animator of any associated committees

– Coordination with Business, Risk, Regional Finance, ALMT, Performance Managers (regions,

central) and central Project teams based in Paris

– Elaborates reliable and quality indicators for expenses and revenues regarding Flash and Actual

process

– Ensures data quality and contributes to the data quality action plan

– Ad hoc analysis, new requests related to margin analysis and added value commentary

El gestor de cobros e imputaciones, bajo la responsabilidad del Responsable de la Relación Clientes, trabaja en el seno del Departamento de Atención al Cliente.

Esta función, principalmente sedentaria, supone relaciones telefónicas frecuentes con numerosos interlocutores internos o externos (cedente, deudores, ITP, CSD, CMTO) y el uso de herramientas y medidas informáticas. 

MISIÓN:

El gestor de cobros e imputaciones estará encargado del control e imputación de los cobros recibidos, así como de realizar las gestiones de cobro a los deudores. 

RESPONSABILIDADES:

1. Tareas relativas a gestiones de cobro:

  • Proceder con la reclamación diaria de facturas a los deudores tanto por escrito como telefónicas, en coordinación con el cliente y registro de los comentarios en la agenda de recobro.
  • Seguimiento y control de las facturas vencidas de la cartera. 
    Introducir litigios en el sistema, así como seguimiento de los mismos.
  • Suministro de información tanto a nivel interno como para el cliente, sobre las gestiones de cobro realizadas (elaboración de informes).
  • Otras tareas inherentes a conseguir el cobro de las facturas como pueden ser envío y seguimiento de notificaciones, renotificaciones o desnotificaciones a los deudores.

2. Tareas relativas a la imputación:

  • Imputación diaria de los cobros recibidos en coordinación con el cliente.
  • Gestión y control de cobros sin imputar en coordinación con el cliente.
  • Tramitación de reembolsos al cliente/ deudores por facturas no cedidas, de acuerdo con todos los requisitos legales, reglamentarios y de cumplimiento interno del Grupo, para incluir como mínimo: KYC, AML / CFT, Sanciones y Embargos y Antisoborno y Corrupción”.
  • Seguimiento y monitorización de los pagos directos, comunicárselos al cliente con el objetivo de eliminarlos a futuro.
  • Suministro de información tanto a nivel interno como para el cliente sobre las imputaciones realizadas y pagos sin imputar (elaboración de informes).

MISSION:

The Invoice Business Manager has a key role to play, assessing & securing the potential risks associated with a P&L deviation of the business.
He/she reports directly to the Business Development Manager in 2S Spain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the accuracy and reliability of accounting for expenses and revenues performed by the IOCs with the appropriate level of controls in compliance with BNP Paribas principles and procedures.

  • Reconciliation of suspense accounts in the area, certification of balances in Beacon and reconciliation in Ambre.
  • Preparation of business reports

  • KPIs monitoring of corporate deals.
  • Communication and control of invoices to the Tax Agency.
