ABOUT THE JOB

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Cost Accountant you will measure, control, and explain key financial indicators, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance and insightful reporting for both internal stakeholders and external auditors. Your work will give the business a 360° view of risk costs and support strategic decision‑making across the Group.

  • Collaborate with risk teams (STFS) to calculate the Group cost‑of‑risk chain and analyze key figures.
  • Monitor daily flow and back‑flow analysis, providing timely feedback to stakeholders.
  • Oversee booking of provisions, ensuring compliance with IFRS 9 and FGAAP.
  • Prepare detailed variance reports and highlight insights for senior management.
  • Control data for regulatory reporting, including Matisse allocations and accounting‑to‑risk reconciliation.
  • Support financial statement preparation and review suspense items.
  • Coordinate with auditors and internal teams, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries.
  • Participate in reporting‑tool upgrades and identify process‑improvement opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

Studies

  • Business school, University Graduate, Master Degree in Accounting or Finance Degree

Experience

  • Up to 2 years experience in Finance within the Banking sector (Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business/financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms

Languages

  • English Advanced
  • French a plus

SKILLS

Technical

  1. Strong knowledge of IFRS 9 impairment calculations and GAAP (IFRS/FGAAP).

Transversal & Behavioral

  • High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and Business Objects; programming skills are a bonus.
  • Analytical ability
  • Organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self‑starter and collaborative team player.
