Screening: Tras la fusión de los equipos de Data Control y KOT, el equipo de KYC Operations colaborar en el proceso de de screening en Vigilance, incluyendo el análisis de resultados relacionados con listas de sanciones y listas PEP. Análisis de noticias adversas a través de la herramienta DJAAMS, en caso de ser aplicable al caso, y evaluación de la materialidad de dichas noticias adversas.
Procurement: Colaboración activa en el alta de proveedores externos, incluyendo el apoyo en todas las tareas relacionadas con el proceso de Procurement

The Audit Professional Practices Associate is a member of the Professional Practices Expertise Center for Europe, Middle and Africa working in dual office mode with a Team in Paris and is part of Inspection Generale.
The Audit Professional Practices Expertise Center main objective is to support the Inspection Générale Management Teams (heads of Domains & Heads of Hubs) in the planification, steering and reporting of the audit work. By contributing to the different key processes of IG – excl. conduct of assignment – the Audit Professional Practices Associate helps Inspection Général to abide by the IIA standards and other requirements (set by the ECB notably), and to provide adequate management information to the General Management and Board of BNP Paribas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role
As a Credit Risk Model Validation Specialist you will participate in the Review, Oversight and monitoring of all Credit Risk Models in force within BNP Paribas such as (IFRS9, Scoring Models, IRB, Stress Testing and ICAAP) and you would play a major role in the definition and challenge of BNP’s global modelling convergence across entities by helping in reaching full compliance with European Banking Regulations such as (CRD, CRR, Basel IV).
Additionally, the role may occasionally require reviewing and assessing other models that may affect any of the credit risk cycle decision making process including ESG related models and would require an ongoing monitoring to ensure that existing models implemented meet Group’s requirements in terms of performance (Review of Estimates and Backtesting)
As such, you will join an international team named – RISK Independent Review and Control – with presence in up to 9 countries comprised by a wide range of experienced and skilled professionals in the Credit Risk Domain that would give you the chance to liaise with senior executive members across BNP’s Paribas RISK organization– including Model Development teams, Internal Audit and Risk Officers – across the different entities BNPP has in several locations including BNL – Italy , Fortis – Belgium , BNPP – France , BGL – Luxembourg .
The role would additionally encompass participating in the validation of to the Group’s Global Corporate Models including Asset Finance, Large Corporates, LBO, Financial Institutions) and would require a frequent interaction with regulatory bodies (ECB , ACPR).

What we are looking for:
Up to three candidates are being sought by the Independent Review and Control, candidates should:
- Show a strong statistical knowledge in the domains of (statistical inference and probability, clustering, time series forecasting).

BNP PARIBAS’ Leveraged Finance team is a market leader in Europe across both term loans and high yield bonds, having led most of the landmark transactions in the space for top tier private equity and leveraged corporate deals. Moreover, we have been at top of European and Iberian league tables in the recent years and have won the prestigious IFR award “EMEA Leveraged Finance House” both in 2023 and 2024.
BNPP’s pan-European Leveraged Finance team has c.100 professionals across various cities in Europe, including London, Paris, Madrid, Milan and Brussels. The team based in Madrid consists of +15 professionals and covers projects both in Iberia and the rest of Europe.
As an off-cycle trainee, you will be primarily providing support on the origination of new transactions, execution of live deals (including high yield bonds and term loans) and day-to-day portfolio management activities. You will provide support on the production of both internal and external materials, including the creation of presentations for marketing and syndication purposes, credit memos, financial models and complete financial and credit analysis.

Origination:

Execution:

You will leverage all BNP Paribas capabilities to ensure the most appropriate solutions are offered to our clients with the highest ethic and conduct standards. You will also be responsible to implement the Cash Management Servicing strategy locally to contribute to position BNPP as a global leader for Cash Management expertise and knowledge in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Management Overview
- Manage the day‐to‐day activities ensuring, targets are achieved and contribute to the performance of Servicing services. Analyse and monitor team activity and report accordingly.
- Ensure the management of teams performance, mentoring and resourcing to maintain a best in class service.
- Engage and collaborate with all Support & Servicing teams (e.g. Local Ops , Lisbon Servicing teams ,etc.) with aim to improve coordination & communication
- Ensure teams organization and governance are relevant by organizing regular team meetings to encourage exchange of ideas and monitor projects and initiatives
- Ensure close collaboration with EMEA CM Servicing Head to accompany the new organisation implementation and to run the activity efficiently within the whole CM servicing ecosystem
- Develop quality of service
- Maintain regular communication with clients, team leaders to keep them advised of progress with service delivery and any other material issues arising
- Ensure clients’ satisfaction during the whole implementation, post-implementation & maintenance and Daily Servicing processes
- Initiate changes to improve productivity and quality or reduce operational risk
- Implement the Cash Management Servicing strategy locally to ensure a best in class service
- Risk monitoring and control
- Design, implement and maintain an optimal control framework to ensure reliability and traceability of the work done
- Ensure all controls, procedures and risk assessments reviewed and validated annually and define control plans to mitigate risks
- Risk control: ensure all incidents are tracked and monitored on the relevant system
- Ensure risk associated with the teams activity is assessed and validated with in accordance with the risk RCSA process
- Define, implement and maintain activity metrics and reporting
- Ensure productivity and quality control by implementing and monitoring relevant KPIs and KQIs
- Report encountered issues and achievements to Management, and input the relevant items in the internal reporting tools
- Ensure action plan is defined and implemented to improve service based on indicator results
- Ensure Team development
- Perform regular review on teams performance and fomalise these through 1-2-1 and semi annual and annual reviews
- Set Objectives which are measurable and deliverable – monitored by the team manager alongside performance review
- Contribute to Cash Management Servicing transformation to implement successfully the target model and ensure change management within the teams
- Define, review and roll-out training plan to continue to develop teams members

ABOUT THE JOB
You will join the Global Practice RISK IRC (Independent Review and Control) responsible for:
· Independent model validation (RISK IR);
· Leading the Group’s Model Risk governance (RISK IRCO);
· Exercising LoD2 on operational risk generated by the RISK Function processes (RISK ORM RISK);
· Participating in validation projects for the BNP Paribas group spread across 9 countries (Europe and North America).
As an AI (Artificial Intelligence) Model Analyst, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
· Conducting independent evaluations of the AI models used within BNP Paribas, specifically verifying:
o their conceptual robustness,
o the validity of their results,
o the model performance monitoring system,
o the implementation and any other relevant aspect of the modeling affecting the models’ use,
· Documenting the work and defending the conclusions before a validation committee,
· Leveraging your expertise and the independent reviews conducted to keep the Group’s AI validation standards up to date,
· Collaborating with other RISK IRC streams to benefit from their business expertise,
· Working closely with BNPP’s data science teams to participate in AI tools experimentation.

As part of the Group RISK Function within BNP Paribas’ extensive network of quantitative analysts specializing in risk modelling, you will have a key role to play in understanding and modelling multiple risks to which the Bank is exposed.
In addition, with the focus on compliance with regulatory requirements, you will be involved in future internal or external audit missions where your expertise, communication and analytical skills will be valuable assets. In-depth knowledge of quantitative analysis and AI (time series analysis, data science techniques, statistical inference, segmentation, etc.).
TECHNICAL
· Proficiency in programming with a language such as Python or R.
· Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn, LightGBM, Tensorflow, or PyTorch.
· Experience with version control tools (Git).
