RISK ORM CIB Scope & Organization:

As a 2nd line of defence, RISK ORM CIB aims at providing RISK and CIB Management with a front to back consolidated view on operational risks of CIB activities to contribute to the reduction of operational risk and to better respond to Regulator’s expectations. 

RISK OMC CIB mandate is to challenge and supervise the Operational Risk management of CIB activities. To that end, RISK ORM CIB relies on an effective operational risk management setup covering CIB activities: Global Banking, Global Markets, 2S and Functions covering CIB activities, Anti-Fraud, ICT, Third Party Risk Management, Operational resilience and Data Protection.

RISK ORM CIB is organized around:

RISK ORM CIB TRANSFORMATION MANDATE & ACTIVITIES

Mandate:

RISK ORM CIB Transformation & COO Office team ensures the management of the Transformation Program led within RISK ORM CIB in close coordination with RISK CIB and RISK ORM Group and is also in charge of RISK ORM CIB COO Office.

Activities:

RISK ORM CIB Transformation & COO Office core activities globally are focused on Program / Project Management incl. Industrialisation, AI & Automation, Change, Training & Communication, Business Management and RISK ORM CIB steering (Governance, budget monitoring).

Reporting to the Head of Transformation & COO Office, the transformation & COO Office Manager is focused primarily on Program / Project Management encompassing mainly projects on:

o The management of the Transformation team members on a day-to-day basis to support them on the priorities validated centrally, projects progress, timely deliverables, governances’ preparation, year-end appraisals…

o The Target Operating Model, including more specifically CIB alignment project, further industrialisation, mutualisation, internationalisation, TOM for new perimeters of activities upon regulators requirements.

o The creation of industrialized platforms via reviews of activities led in Portugal and in India platforms to identify and deploy further best practices, RISK ORM CIB process reviews will be handled in strong coordination with OROs

o The AI & Automation stream which includes:

o AI & Automation opportunities identifications working with the OROs WW

o the reporting project in collaboration with RISK ORM Group

o the management of the relationship with RISK System in India which is our automation partner for all our automatization.

o the RISK360 users access management for 1LOD & 2LOD (currently managed at ORM Group level)

o The Change – Training, communication, and events’ organisation for RISK ORM CIB AI & Automation community

o Contribute to other transversal and strategic projects within RISK ORM or RISK CIB upon request

o Handle the Transformation governance through a Transformation Committee

The Transformation & COO Office organizer can also be requested to participate in the COO Office tasks and contribute to Committees (RISK ORM Eco, Sponsors meetings, …)

MISSION

The Financial Statements analyst deploys operationally the regulation and normative instructions on his/her operational scope.

Based on the data delivered by the Finance SMS, he/she produces the reporting, specific analysis and ad-hoc requests.

He/she ensures quarterly production of his/her scope of entities reporting for BNPP’s financial statements consolidation, and answer to ad hoc requests from Group and external Auditors or other stakeholders supervised by his/her TL. He/she ensures on time and accurate different pack of financial and regulatory reporting related to his/her stream.

Position Purpose

ABOUT THE JOB

 

Position Purpose

  • The team member will ensure the data quality of the reporting towards the elaboration of the Group

Consolidated Financial Statements. She/he will act as a financial controller analyzing and monitoring the information declared by the BNP sites/regions

  • This implies his / her collaboration on supporting the reporting sites/regions for the preparation of the closings, implementing and monitoring transversal controls at global level, investigating complex transactions from financial / reporting perspective, analyzing the data reported by the sites/regions through packages, and synthetizing the results of the controls and the performance through various deliverables
  • At the same time, the team member will be the Subject Matter Expert on a particular Reporting topic (i.e. IFRS 9, IFRS 12, Consolidation Perimeter, KPIs reports, Intercompany etc)

 

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible of supporting the entities/regions in the preparation of the quarterly closings:
    • Developing capacity of the team member on understanding the events/issues raised by the sites/regions that might have an impact in the reporting
    • Advising the reporting sites/regions about the correct presentation / accounting treatments of specific transactions
    • Inform the sites/regions about news on Group norms, standards and reporting evolutions
    • Ensure that the open issues are properly followed-up during the inter-closings as well as support on defining action plans
  • Analysis on all the events with impact on the Group Consolidated Financial Statements
    • Discuss with the reporting sites/regions about particular transactions / operations that have a material impact in the Financial Statements
    • Understand the issues and their implications on the Group Consolidated Financial Statement
    • Identify events that might need an adjustment at consolidated level (i.e. operation wrongly booked in local, elimination of internal results, reclassifications for presentation purposes, etc.)
    • Summarize and synthetize the key events in order to report them to the Team Leader
  • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME):
    • The team member is responsible for understanding and developing a particular transversal topic related to Financial / Regulatory Reporting
    • The team member is part of Group Finance, the processed under is scope should be updated and harmonized with Group expectations

 

During the closing:

Collection and analysis of the Financial and Regulatory Statements

  • Ask for corrections when the information provided through the packages is not accurate or wrongly reported 
  • Perform an analytical review on the data reported in order to have a global view on the material balances and variations
  • Liaise with the sites/regions to get the necessary economic background and details aiming to understand the material figures and key quarterly / annual variations
  • Coordination between regions and Group / Regulators / Auditors to comply with regulatory or ad-hoc requests

 

As a SME

  • The transversal tasks within a particular role of SME have to respect the deadlines and steps defined by the Group
  • You will be responsible of implementing the controls and / or taking the necessary actions to ensure the achievement of the task/sIndependently of the role of entity coordinator, the SME is responsible of informing the reporting sites/regions about the instructions of the tasks, the results of the controls as well as the actions to be taken over the reporting packages or particular tools / systems

Perform manual accounting entries in the reporting tool (consolidated adjustments) to correct any gap/missing entry/system error impacting the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Group

 

Post closing:

Production of Key Performance Indicators, synthesis and debriefing :

  • Participate on the elaboration of the KPIs that measure the performance of the reporting sites/regions. It implies to summarize and quantify the results from the work performed by the regions, provide an issue log, participate on follow-up meetings and collaborate on defining action plans on open issues
  • Accompany and foster the performance of the production teams by providing assistance
  • Synthetize the key issues encountered during the quarterly closing and report to the Team Leader as well as top management accordingly.

Participation to the Transformation of the Function:

  • Based on the projects and the continuous transformation of the function, the team member will participate on the implementation of the needed action plans / changes that the organization might require

Dentro de BNP Paribas Personal Finance, vamos a crear una academia con el objetivo de incorporar un(as/os) estudiantes empezando en modalidad de beca que pueda dar soporte a un equipo de desarrollo internacional, el cual forma parte de South Europe Technologies (SET) – Centro Internacional de Servicios Compartidos de IT, Data, Operaciones y Ciberseguridad.  
   

Tras un periodo de onboarding con el rol de Analista de Datos junto con el líder técnico y el resto del equipo, las principales responsabilidades del puesto serán:  

  • Identificar y proponer mejoras que mejoren el rendimiento y procesos de las soluciones de datos implementadas. 
  • Recopilar y analizar los requerimientos que las diferentes áreas de negocio propongan. 
  • Capacidad para interpretar grandes volúmenes de datos y extraer conclusiones relevantes. 
  • Implementar soluciones para la extracción y transformación de los datos almacenados. 
  • Desarrollar habilidades para traducir datos complejos en informes compresibles para audiencias técnicas y no técnicas. Estos informes se deberán diseñar, automatizar y publicar utilizando para ello Power BI y/o Tableau. 
  • Colaborar con otras áreas y equipos interdisciplinarios (analistas de negocio, científico de datos…) en el desarrollo de productos analíticos basados en datos. 
  • En base a la experiencia desarrollada, proponer mejoras en la calidad y gobierno del dato establecidos por el Data Office 
  • Mantenerse al tanto de las tendencias y mejores prácticas en el diseño e implementación de las diferentes tecnologías aplicadas al manejo y desarrollo de proyectos basados en datos.  

Los requisitos que necesitarás para cubrir esta posición son:  

  • Una formación en Ingeniería Informática u otras Ingenierías. O en campos relacionados como matemáticas, estadística, física o equivalentes. 
  • Formación a través de cursos especializados y/o bootcamps, analítica de datos y/o Big data.

Responsable de la gestión de las acciones de KYC centralizadas para el tratamiento de las operativas inhabituales como LOD1 de Seguridad Financiera. Interlocutor principal con Compliance para todo lo que afecte a las políticas de TM y con los equipos operacionales responsables de aplicar la normativa. Es un facilitador entre Compliance y los equipos que impulsa la adaptación de los procesos para el cumplimiento normativo. Responsabilidad de Reporting internos y de grupo relativos a TM.
 
RESPONSABILIDADES

Analizar a través del esquipo especializado a su cargo el cumplimiento del tratamiento de las operativas inhabituales Seguimiento de los circuitos de comunicación previos al bloqueo de los clientes considerados como alertas por Operativa

MISION

Apoyo al equipo de KYC operation:

Recolección de documentación e información: Contribución a la recopilación de información y documentación de naturaleza pública

Screening: Tras la fusión de los equipos de Data Control y KOT, el equipo de KYC Operations colaborar en el proceso de de screening en Vigilance, incluyendo el análisis de resultados relacionados con listas de sanciones y listas PEP.  Análisis de noticias adversas a través de la herramienta DJAAMS, en caso de ser aplicable al caso, y evaluación de la materialidad de dichas noticias adversas.

Procurement: Colaboración activa en el alta de proveedores externos, incluyendo el apoyo en todas las tareas relacionadas con el proceso de Procurement
