As part of the Open Cloud Platforms (OCP) division, you will join the CoE Automation unit. Your mission is to address the automation needs of the Production division in a standardized, scalable, and efficient way.

We are looking for a Terraform Enterprise Expert to join our platform team in Madrid. You won’t just maintain the platform; you will act as a mentor, a catalyst for our company-wide Center of Expertise, and a technical leader for OCP Automation, guiding teams toward Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices and accelerating our cloud-native transformation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Platform Governance: Configure Terraform Enterprise settings, including teams, access controls, and policies.
  • Policy as Code: Maintain Organizational Policy as Code (OPA) and enforce policies using Sentinel.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage workspace configurations, execution modes, and ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery for Terraform Enterprise.
  • Module Development: Implement and maintain central modules and providers for the entire community.
  • Integration & Automation: Ensure seamless links between Terraform Enterprise and the tool ecosystem (AAP, Vault, GitLab, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve complex execution issues, runs, and state management problems.
  • Collaboration: Conduct regular code reviews and work closely with security and development teams to implement compliance and workflow integration.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Mandatory: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with Terraform Enterprise (not just open-source).
  • Mandatory: Deep expertise in IaC principles, Private Module Registries, and state management.
  • Mandatory: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Mandatory: High standard of English (C1 level).
  • Preferred: HashiCorp Certifications (Terraform Associate or Professional).
  • Preferred: Programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or Ruby).
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the HashiCorp ecosystem (Vault, Consul, Nomad) and Kubernetes/Helm.
  • Preferred: Operational French is a plus.
  • Behavioral: An analytical mindset, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and strong cross-functional communication skills.

OUR PERKS

  • Hybrid telecommuting model (50%).
  • 32 vacation days.
  • Flexible compensation plan.
  • Training programs, career plans, and international mobility.
  • Corporate volunteering program (1 Million Hours 2 Help).
