 MISSION

 ·         PC Spain is expected to handle several FA & MO/TA tasks delegated by LUX for Lux domiciled vehicles launched by Spanish GPs.

 ·         This requires to find two dedicated resources to ensure we are able to provide the service from Spain with regards to both the FA and TA daily tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Main goal: dealing with the investor/ capital transactions of the Lux domiciled funds according to the corresponding GAAP (LUXGAAP, IFRS, USGAAP…), accounting for everything that is investor related (contributions, distributions,…) and producing the investor reports (notices, PCAP….)

 ·         This person will also be responsible for

 o    Doing the set up of the investors, investor accounts and contacts

 o    Doing the set up of the different share classes of the vehicle

 o    Accounting for capital operations

 o    Doing the bank reconciliation when there is a capital operation that involves either a cash inflow or outflow

 o    Preparing and producing the investor reports (Notices, PCAP…)

 o    Coordinate and being in close touch with the FA team for the capital transactions

 MISSION 

 PC Spain continue to face significant growth in its activity, mainly led by (i) organic growth (reflecting our dominant market share) as well as (ii) NBS, as a robust pipeline continues to build up. This growth is spread across all PC operational areas (Depo/OVRK, investment Compliance, FA and MO) and so far has been supported by HC increases and some efficiency initiatives. 

 This growth required the need to find a dedicated resource to ensure our technology and processes are properly designed and constantly updated to support this growth.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Main goal: Identify optimal architectural design (systems and processes) and seek operational efficiencies, not only (i) within each PC area; but also (ii) for identifying synergies and opportunities across all PC areas, aiming to deploy an efficient information flow, based on automation and avoiding duplicate activities (ex. TFMO)  

 This person will also be responsible for 

(i) PC KPIs monitoring (performance and activity-related)

 (ii) considering the tailor-made characteristic of PC funds, onboarding funds with a higher level of complexity 

 (iii) it will also be responsible for making sure all processes and procedures are updated and properly applied (although not responsible for preparing them) 

 (iv) coordinate quality certification processes (ex. ISAE 3401, etc.) 

 (v) assist on the design and implementation of a efficient billing process

The European Trade Finance Service Center has 115 employees across 16 nationalities in Spain and provides solutions for Domestic and international Guarantees, Syndicated guarantees, Fronting, Green and sustainable linked guarantees and Documentary products (Import and Export) for both, corporations or institutions, in close collaboration with the Global Trade Solutions teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deal directly with CIB clients ensuring their needs are met and/or exceeded within established agreements.
  • Provide assistance/support to clients and corporate groups on technical aspects of International and Domestic Guarantees.
  • Process Guarantees issued on behalf of the Bank’s clients or other branches/subsidiaries/correspondents, including the review and validation of wordings in non-standard or pre-validated formats.
  • The day to day processing of guarantee expiries and follow up with branches, correspondents and clients to ensure a smooth release of guarantee instruments as they meet their expiry dates. 
  • The role will also be responsible for assisting the Invoicing and Fees officer when necessary.

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Ensuring client needs are met and/or exceeded, processing client requests on a timely and proactive manner. 
  • Providing assistance/support to clients and corporate groups on technical aspects of International and Domestic Guarantees.
  • Providing support and assistance to Front Office (FO) on technical aspects and practices and in getting deals booked and properly processed.

• Análisis y asesoramiento en inversiones: Realizar análisis financieros avanzados y modelizaciones para evaluar la viabilidad y rendimiento de las transacciones. Proporcionar recomendaciones estratégicas y personalizadas a clientes basadas en el análisis de mercado y rendimiento proyectado de los activos.

• Análisis de mercados y oportunidades para identificar tendencias y oportunidades. Mantener al día la base de datos de transacciones en el segmento Living.  

• Conocer y aplicar los procedimientos de la compañía y de la propia línea de negocio (utilizar aquellas herramientas involucradas en cada uno de los procesos)

• Cumplir con la política global de KYC de la compañía (ver apartado roles y responsabilidades KYC)

REQUISITOS

Estudios

  • Grado universitario en Finanzas, Economía, Administración de Empresas, o áreas relacionadas.
  • Se valora un posgrado en Finanzas, Mercado de Capitales o Inversiones Inmobiliarias.                              

Experiencia

Experiencia en el sector de Capital Markets, preferiblemente en consultoría inmobiliaria o financiera, banca de inversión o gestora de activos.

                          

Idiomas

Español e inglés fluido. Francés es un plus.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Department’s efficiencies and process, controlling the proper functionality of the business tools and the decision-making tool, ensuring correct use and managing any incident about them.
Participate in projects as BE, individually or together with the Project Risk Manager, at Department and Transversal level.
Participate in the development and monitoring of decision models at local level and jointly with Corporate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 ■      Lead projects in the first person or participating as BE together with the Project Risk Manager.

 ■      Participate in transversal initiatives with other business areas.

 ■      Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of the department, working together and supporting 1LoD.

 ■      Assist and advise risk tools users.

 ■      Manage the incidents of the risk tools.

 ■      Complete the Controls established on the risk tools and related processes.

 ■ Decision-making tools. Credit decisions models.

 ■      Manage risk efficiently by developing quantitative models to keep risk.

 ■ Model validation. Test and validate risk models to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness. Complete functional tests of decision models- rules. 

 ■      Participate in the definition of KPIs and actions for the continuous improvement of the Department and its monitoring.

 ■      Identify and define improvements in collaboration with other Business Experts at local level and with counterparts in other countries.

 ■      Participate in the analysis and management of the different development requests of the Department and the rest of the business, analyzing feasibility and possible impacts.

 ■ Collaborate with functional and software quality analysts in the drafting of requirements and validation of specifications, as well as in the optimization of systems testing processes.

 ■  Participate in the Local Committee of Change request.

REQUIREMENTS

 * Studies

University degree: Bachelor’s degree.
