- Verify the existence and proper application of the Regulations and the internal rules defined by BNP Paribas policies;

MISSION
As a Model Risk and Model Validation Analyst, you will safeguard the integrity of market, counter‑party and valuation risk models. You will conduct independent reviews, assess model limitations, and advise senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance with standards such as FRTB and SA‑CCR while enabling better decision‑making.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Conduct independent reviews of market, counter‑party and valuation risk models, evaluating conceptual soundness and limitations.
- Analyse model outputs against regulatory requirements (FRTB, SA‑CCR) and internal policies, documenting findings.
- Develop and run quantitative scripts (Python, C++, R) to compare model alternatives and support validation.
- Liaise with model developers, validation managers and business owners to gather data, clarify assumptions and present results.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 2–12 years of quantitative experience, MSc or PhD in financial mathematics or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of capital markets, product liquidity and collateral conventions.
- Strong understanding of stochastic processes, derivatives pricing and market‑risk modelling techniques.
- In‑depth familiarity with regulatory frameworks (FRTB, SA‑CCR) and internal model‑risk policies.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, R or Matlab for rapid model assessment.
- Experience with model validation and model‑risk‑management processes.

Finance Implementation Projects (FIP) EMEA team ensures the end-to-end implementation of the Business and Regulatory projects in the region, in full alignment with Finance strategy. In the scope of FIP:
- Projects related to changes driven by Business and/or ITO initiatives (new products, operational systems implementation, migration between the systems, etc.)
- Projects related to changes driven by new Regulatory environment (new regulation implementation: IASB, ECB, Local Central Banks and/or regulators, etc.)

MISSION
Within ITTF, Finance Dedicated Solutions (FDS) is a Group in charge of servicing Finance processes and users on a worldwide scope.
There are three Domains in FDS: Consolidations Solutions dedicated to Head Office Reporting, Operating Solutions dedicated to specific Finances processes and Local Regulatory Reporting Solutions (LRRS) dedicated to local or regional Finance teams producing the Financial statements & Financial prudential reporting towards the National Central Banks.
The missions of the LRRS team are to:
- Help and participate on the OFS migrations of the LRR streams (teams)
- Support the design and systems-and-solutions-building for LRR Finance processes & users
- Comprehend and help on the adaptation of regional activities of the existing systems & solutions
- Support, run and manage the LRR systems & solutions
- Help on the incidents of the LRR systems & solutions management
- Ensure communication with users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the training and change management of the Finance users

Concerning the EMEA region, a dedicated LRRS team is set up in the ITTF EMEA Hub. The analyst position is part of that team.
The ITTF EMEA Hub operates as a service center providing resources and expertise to deliver on tasks and projects prioritized by ITTF On-Shore stakeholders. The ITTF EMEA hub is itself hosted within the Oxygen Platform and covers Lisbon & Madrid Locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibility is to support the team leaders on the transversal tasks.
Your main tasks include:
- Enhanced the LRRS documentation: improve the LRRS EMEA sharepoint organization, insure and follow the quality of the sharepoint content, share with the team members the good practices.
- As a BA, support your squad on the data and application analysis, testing new developments and functionalities.
- Support on the definition of the LRR solution for the new entities joining OFS.
- Monitor BAU and guarantee processes execution.
- Collaborate in communication between the different teams and support in the management of transversal topics, (such as Agile at scale, documentation, global meetings preparation…)

ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
Within BNPP Finance, SALT-R is part of SMR, covering the following global missions:
- Prepare financial indicators in accordance with the requirements of regulators and standards in force
- Monitor and steer performance at Group, Division, Group Function level.
SALT-R is more particularly responsible to produce Liquidity and Resolution reporting and indicators, for the Group as well as for sub perimeters, of which the French Liquidity waiver, several geographical areas, and other sub-groups.
SALT-R is a joint venture between BNP Paribas Finance and ALMT HO, at central level, whose deliverables are mainly intended for:
- Externally: the ECB, the SRB and the JST (Joint Supervisory Team, composed ECB and ACPR people) for Regulatory and Supervisory reporting and analysis
- Internally: the CFO and the General Management of the Group, including for steering issues.
SALT-R has a strong relationship with all the Divisions contributing to Group indicators, covering CIB (Global Markets, Global Banking, BP2S), Domestic Markets and IFS (International Financial Services) as well as ALMT Head Office as a partner and a contributor.
The main indicators / reporting produced by SALT-R are:
- LCR: 1 month Short Term Stressed liquidity ratio;
- Maturity Ladder (bucketed balance sheet)

RESPONSIBILITIES
SALT-R Department is at the early stage of its transformation project. Therefore, the job requests profiles looking for challenging situations and creation of new opportunities. Adaptability and relationship skills are even more necessary in the context of work at home due to the sanitary crisis.
