On December 2nd 2004, BNP Paribas closed as co-arranger the EUR 105 million financing for the construction and operation of the Autovia de la Mancha shadow tollroad project.
The 53-km long Autovía de La Mancha aims at connecting Toledo with the South-Western area of Castilla La Mancha, and more particularly with Albacete.
Total project costs amount to EUR 138.9 million to be financed by a combination of debt and equity on a 75%-to-25% basis.
The Project is sponsored by Dragados Concesiones de Infraestructuras SA, a fully owned subsidiary of the largest Spanish construction group ACS Dragados. The Concession was awarded by the Junta de Castilla La Mancha (the regional government) for a term of 30 years under a shadow toll scheme.
