Purpose:
As a member of the Europe Production IT Continuity Team, you will support the ICRO in delivering the objectives of the CIB IT Continuity Programme and associated Resilience goals. IC’s mission is aligned with Group and CIB work in this area
Scope:
FR & UK CIB Production infrastructure assets hosted within CIB Paris or London datacentres
Includes management & coordination of datacentre scale exercises in collaboration with APS coordination team in GSS
For IT Production, assist the ICO with core responsibilities as per ITG0045_3:
- Manage and monitor the IT continuity framework for IT assets managed by the operational entity. Most notably:
- Gather IT continuity needs with Business Continuity Officers
- Consolidate and maintain the list of critical IT assets of the operational entity
- Deploy and maintain the appropriate IT continuity framework for existing IT assets and projects
- Ensure compliance with IT continuity requirements
- Raise awareness and train players in their scope
- Ensure compliance with IT continuity requirements
- Prepare IT continuity reports of the operational entity including results from exercises
- Present IT continuity risks for IT assets in production to the management of the operational entity concerned
- Organise additional continuity exercises as required to optimise the IC goals towards the IC Programme
- Provide Critical Incident Management Team support as required
- IT IC risk mapping and resolution activities, aimed at enhancing the IT IC capabilities of ITO Production
Associated Tasks:
Provide Critical Incident Management Team support as required
- When required, when possible if outside of normal business hours, be capable of joining the ITIP CIM teams as it works towards recovering from an incident and resuming normal business operations
- Ensure current CommandPoint instances for failover/failback of the respective DCs are available at all times (not just for exercise events), so they are available for use should a DC incident occur requiring failover
