MADRID IT Platform

The CIB IT Platform for EMEA is responsible to provide IT Services to our Internal Clients ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. This function includes Global Markets Application Production, Local Territory IT Development, the Core Infrastructure environment including Datacentres, Application Production, Security, Architecture as well as elements of the Global Services organisation.

II.            Context and Role summary

The “CTO Office” Domain is part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking Information Technology & Operations (CIB ITO) of BNP Paribas. Within this domain, “IT Project Management Office” has a relevant role managing the IT projects that fall on the Madrid IT platform scope : EMEA.                                                                                                                                                   

 

III.         Position – Tasks & Key Responsibilities

·       Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of IT projects on time within budget, within scope and within the BNPP Group IT Project Management Framework procedures and rules. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize progress of project

·       Coordinate resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of IT projects

·       Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Fulfil the “Project Form” for each assigned Project

·       Meet with Project Sponsors and Initiators to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

·       Ensure resource availability and allocation

·       Delegate project tasks based on staff members individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

·       Develop a detailed project plan to monitor, identify milestones and track progress

·      Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.

·       Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule

·       Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

·       Report and escalate to management as needed

·       Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals

·       Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps according to Project needs. Fulfil the “Project Card” for each assigned Project

·       Deliver comprehensive Reporting to all stakeholders, for Project tracking and follow-up

·       Perform risk management to minimize project risks recording and applying Risk remediation actions

·       Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

·       Deliver “Project Closure Documentation” once all Project Targets are reach, and all Project Tasks completed.

Staff Responsibilities

·       Attend to team meetings and, contribute into it when requested

·       Produce and provide to Management, information that allow the activity tracking and performance

·       Keep Management duly informed when the employee will not be “active” during agreed working hours.

IV.         Professional Skills, Abilities and Experience

Essential:

·       Senior IT Project Manager, with at least 3 years of experience leading IT Infrastructure Projects within the last 4 years

·       Very good background and experience on IT technologies

·       Good IT Infrastructure and IT Systems global knowledge

·       6+ years experience as an IT professional

·       Strong leadership skills

·       Highly motivated

·       Project Management : PRINCE2 practitioner,  PMP or equivalent Certification

·       Team and collaborative working mind-set,  to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills

·       Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines

·       Advance level in managing any Project Management tool (MS Project, Asana, Clarity …).

Desirable:

·       ITIL principles. ITIL certification

·       Customer service oriented skills

·       ServiceNow ® advance user

·       Clarity PPM user experience.

VI.         Languages & Qualifications

LANGUAGES

·       Fluent English speaker and written fluent (B2/C1)

·       French spoken and written will be valued.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Project Management. PRINCE2 or PMP qualifications

·         ITIL principles. ITIL certification.
