MADRID IT Platform
The CIB IT Platform for EMEA is responsible to provide IT Services to our Internal Clients ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. This function includes Global Markets Application Production, Local Territory IT Development, the Core Infrastructure environment including Datacenters, Application Production, Security, Architecture as well as elements of the Global Services organization.
Context and Role summary
The “CTO Office” Domain is part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking Information Technology & Operations (CIB ITO) of BNP Paribas. The Project Manager drives projects for the Production department and other departments, for instance CISO and the Modernisation Program.
The Role is focused on IT Projects coordination, with other stakeholders establish the project objectives and timeline, produce a validated architecture, steer the project, and Manage communications.
The Production Project Manager is in contact with stakeholders from various departments, he/she makes sure the capacity planning of the different teams allows a proper delivery of the projects in the agreed timeframes.
The Production Project Manager relies on the Production teams and on third party suppliers to deliver the projects.
· He/she manages various types of projects within the IT Production department,
· He/she is accountable for his/her projects towards the respective Domain Owners,
· He/she reports the status of the projects to the respective Domain Owners, whether they are in the Production department or not,
· He/she delivers the technical solutioning with the help of the Production stakeholders,
· He/she is responsible for the planning, reporting, coordination of the stakeholders, communication, risk management, and budget of the project he/she manages,
· He/she applies architecture and security rules to his/her projects,
· He/she manages the Project Team and other stakeholders, to make sure they achieve their objectives in the context of his/her projects.
Position – Tasks & Key Responsibilities
· Analyse project objectives, and make sure an implementation strategy is established together with the Domain Owners
· Establish a project timeline early enough in the project to align the delivery capacities of all concerned teams,
· Plan, and maintain the evolution of the delivery timeline,
· Define the project tasks, their sequence, and their dependencies,
· Estimate the project workloads based on feedbacks from all the concerned stakeholders,
· Build the project budget and make sure the Domain Owners align their budgets with the proposed budget,
· Prepare and manage the project steering committees, as well as al the committees required by the Governance. In general, manage the Project communication,
· Collect and organize project documentation,
· Make sure the time reporting tool, Clarity, can be used by all project stakeholders. This includes authorizing the stakeholders, dispatching man-days according to expectations, updating project dates, risks, and issues,
· Report the project progress, both in Clarity and in other reporting tools, e.g. the PMO Portfolio
· Escalate when required, either when risks go out of tolerance, or when deviations in schedule or effort are expected,
· Manage changes to the project scope and requirements,
· Manage several projects concurrently,
· Propose improvements during continuous improvement sessions.
Staff Responsibilities
· As a member of the BNPP community, you must comply with the code of conduct and all BNPP rules,
· He/she reports to the Production Project Office Manager, who assigns the projects to all the PMO team members,
· He/she interacts with his/her colleagues when participating to the continuous improvement of the team, and also regarding projects that may have dependencies between each other,
· He/she interacts with the Domain Owner who is the sponsor of his/her project, to make sure the progress is in line with the expectations. The Domain Owner is also the first point of escalation during the project,
· He/she interacts with the Project Governance team (CAP = Conformance, Alignment & Performance) who provides all the methodology, templates, committees, and reporting for projects within the IT department,
· He/she interacts with the CISO teams to establish the project related risks, as well as the risks on the Information Systems coming from the project, and to determine which controls are relevant and should be put in place,
· He/she interacts with the Outsourcing and Data teams, when establishing the third-party risks, during the TPRM process (Third Party Risk Management). In this context, he/she interacts also with CIO Office teams when SLA updates are required. Contacts with other transversal teams may be required during the instruction of this TPRM process,
· He/she interacts with the Architecture teams while preparing the architecture validation and architecture review committees,
· He/she interacts with Group teams, ITG or CIB, when the solution is provided by the Group,
· He/she interacts with all the Production teams, to be able to deliver the project in Production,
· He/she may interact with other teams when the need arises, provided that these contacts are approved by the project Sponsor.
Professional Skills, Abilities and Experience
– Essential:
· Senior IT Project Manager, with at least 3 years of experience leading IT Infrastructure Projects within the last 4 years
· Very good background and experience on IT technologies
· Good IT Infrastructure and IT Systems global knowledge
· 6+ years experience as an IT professional
· Strong leadership skills
· Highly motivated
· Project Management : PRINCE2 practitioner, PMP or equivalent Certification
· Team and collaborative working mind-set, to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills
· Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines
· Advance level in managing any Project Management tool (MS Project, Asana, Clarity …).
– Desirable:
· ITIL principles. ITIL certification
· Customer service oriented skills
· ServiceNow ® advance user
· Clarity PPM user experience.

Languages & Qualifications
– LANGUAGES
· Fluent English speaker and written fluent (B2/C1)
· French spoken and written would be a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Project Management. PRINCE2 or PMP qualifications would be a plus
· An Agile Certification would be a plus
· ITIL principles. ITIL certification would be a plus
