ABOUT THE JOB
The Stress Testing Data Analytics (STDA) team belongs to the Produce Pillar of MS4U department. The MS4U department focuses on several key missions: developing models (pillar 1 and pillar 2), conducting backtestings and simulation activities, producing regulatory stress testing exercises (EBA, ECB), supporting ICAAP and budget exercises, generating IFRS9 ECL reports, preparing regulatory reporting (including climate risk, NPL, benchmarking RWA/IFRS9), and performing local stress tests.
The STDA team consists of data engineers and project managers working within the scope of credit risk and securitization. STDA collects, analyzes, reconciles, and builds databases to ensure the success of these exercises.
The team works in a Big Data environment. Dataiku V14 streamlines collaborative development (in SQL, Pyspark) by allowing multiple team members to design, test, and deploy data workflows, while Power BI enables sharing actionable insights across departments.
The team works in partnership with the IT department on the platform. They support the team on a daily-basis and help with back-end big data engineering support and maintenance.
In this role, you will join the team dedicated to credit risk. Your primary responsibility will be to handle big data, perform data quality assessments, analyze risk parameters across multiple dimensions, report relevant insights based on data analysis and prepare the databases used for the projection of credit risk parameters.
YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE
- Perform data collection and build/maintain reliable data transformation pipelines
- Work on data ingestion, data quality, data preparation, data cleaning and data analysis
- Automate, optimize and document the data preparation processes
- Develop dynamic Dashboards to report on the most relevant and frequent business topics
- Work closely with data providers and clients to get technical and business requirements
- Specific contributions to regulatory and internal stress testing exercises
PROFILE AND SKILLS TO SUCCESS
- Strong academic background, with a master’s degree
- Relevant experience in data related roles including analysis, engineering, visualization

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

We are the RISK Quant Force (RQF), a transversal team of more than 20 quantitative experts supporting BNP Paribas’ risk management. Based in Madrid, Bourdeaux and Warsaw, the team is composed of quantitative experts and data scientists which contribute to the quantitative activity of the BNP Paribas Group Risk management teams.
MISSION
As a Credit quantitative analyst you will contribute to modeling, simulations, calibration or performance analysis of models (probability of default, loss given default, forward-looking,…) for the BNP Paribas Group RISK quantitative teams. Your work will support regulatory dialogues, quantify supervisory impacts and provide training for system users.
You will integrate your internal client team during the mission while having benefit from interactions with the other experts in the RQF and integrating a community of 800 « Quant » in the risk management teams of the Group.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and validate statistical models for PD, LGD and forward‑looking credit risk.
- Integrate ESG variables, including climate transition risk, into existing credit risk frameworks.
- Design and run large‑scale simulations, measuring conservatism, stability and performance of models.
- Code, test and deploy methodologies in internal systems, delivering training and support to users.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- University degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years quantitative analysis experience in Credit risk, with solid IFRS9 and CRR knowledge.
- Advanced English; able to participate in meetings and produce technical documentation.
- Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, Tableau, Dataiku; basic SAS is a plus.

MISSION
Within ITTF, Finance Dedicated Solutions (FDS) is a Group in charge of servicing Finance processes and users on a worldwide scope.
There are three Domains in FDS: Consolidations Solutions dedicated to Head Office Reporting, Operating Solutions dedicated to specific Finances processes and Local Regulatory Reporting Solutions (LRRS) dedicated to local or regional Finance teams producing the Financial statements & Financial prudential reporting towards the National Central Banks.
The missions of the LRRS team are to:
- Help and participate on the OFS migrations of the LRR streams (teams)
- Support the design and systems-and-solutions-building for LRR Finance processes & users
- Comprehend and help on the adaptation of regional activities of the existing systems & solutions
- Support, run and manage the LRR systems & solutions
- Help on the incidents of the LRR systems & solutions management
- Ensure communication with users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the training and change management of the Finance users
- Strive to continuously improve the service provided by LRRS by tracking inefficiencies within LRRS and contributing to review Finance LRR processes

Concerning the EMEA region, a dedicated LRRS team is set up in the ITTF EMEA Hub. The analyst position is part of that team.
The ITTF EMEA Hub operates as a service center providing resources and expertise to deliver on tasks and projects prioritized by ITTF On-Shore stakeholders. The ITTF EMEA hub is itself hosted within the Oxygen Platform and covers Lisbon & Madrid Locations.
The ITTF EMEA Hub operates under the “Extended Team” model encompassing a clearly defined functional reporting line for each team to on-shore Managers who supervise the activities performed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibility is to support the team leaders on the transversal tasks.
Your main tasks include:
- Enhanced the LRRS documentation: improve the LRRS EMEA sharepoint organization, insure and follow the quality of the sharepoint content, share with the team members the good practices.
- As a BA, support your squad on the data and application analysis, testing new developments and functionalities.
- Support on the definition of the LRR solution for the new entities joining OFS.
- Monitor BAU and guarantee processes execution.
- Collaborate in communication between the different teams and support in the management of transversal topics, (such as Agile at scale, documentation, global meetings preparation…)
