Head of Change and Continues Improvement at Global Trade Operations and functionally to Head of Change, Watchtower and Support EMEA Trade Operations.

Mission and Objectives

Within Group BNP Paribas ITO Function, Global Trade Operations, a community of 700* people in the 3 CIB regions & 50 countries, leverage on their integrated and global model to accompany the business strategy being the Global Trade operations Platforms a key enablers of the transformation.

The European Trade Finance Service Center has over 140 employees across over 20 nationalities in Spain and provides solutions for Domestic and international Guarantees, Syndicated guarantees, Fronting, Green and sustainable linked guarantees and Documentary products (Import and Export) for both, corporations or institutions, in close collaboration with the Global Trade Solutions teams.

Main responsibilities

 

The Performance Monitoring and Reporting team is responsible for production of KPIs, reports and dashboards to be sent and shared with main stakeholders and internal clients.

 

Detailed responsibilities:

·         Production and analysis of recurrent Report and Dashboards 

·         Chairing of SLA meetings with internal stakeholders (Business, IT and Operations).

·         Explore and develop new reports or indicators (identify requirements, sourcing and manage the implementation).

·         Contribute or drive the Continuous Improvement (automation, efficiency, use of new technologies (Python, AI …) on existing indicators. Capacity to act autonomously and proactively.

·         Chairing of SLA meetings with internal clients (MO) and enforce SLA commitments and report

MISSION

ITGP Telecom & Workspace is responsible for providing IT services to our clients by ensuring the evolution of the digital market in a secure and efficient environment, with reliable quality. This function encompasses infrastructure and collaborative tools, as well as an interactive voice response solution: Genesys deployed for remote support team.  

Responsibilities


Study and follow new customer’s onboarding and respect delivery timeline 

  • Design and implement specific flow in Architect 
  • Implement Genesys Cloud Agent Scripts 
  • Study and create Genesys third party integration (External Chatbot, API, AI service…) 
  • Maintain the Genesys architecture in operational condition, as well as its adhesions (API interconnections). 
  • Understand the development carried out in the Architect module, to better support our clients. 
  • You will manage and resolve incidents and problems that affect the Genesys service, applying root cause analysis and preventive actions. 
  • You will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates, escalations, and feedback on the delivery status and issues. 
  • Assist users of the solution with end-to-end call analysis and metrics search.  
  • Assistance with the implementation of Genesys Dashboard and report (statistical indicators, banners).

  • Data Management Framework specifications for RISK & FINANCE
  • Data Quality monitoring of these data

Thanks to concrete actions / reports,RF Data office team in Madrid contributes to the Group Data Quality monitoringcapabilities’ enhancement, providing key inputs to the RISK Finance QARC(Quality 

Assessment & RemediationCommittee), by:

 

  • Transposing operationally strategic orientations defined by the Group Data Board
  • Assessing Data Quality based on KPI’s and Dashboard for RISK & FINANCE key data
  • Escalating main transversal issues identified through data quality indicators ‘dashboards or Business Lines, functions’ final users and define priorities

Within RISK FINANCEData Office, youwill be specifically contributing  to BCBS239 adherence project,aiming to enhance the data management framework at Group level, including forRISK and FINANCE, in the context of the insuance of ECB guidelines in May 2024.  

 

As part of the BCBS239 adherenceproject, your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • To contribute to the organization of a new set-up complying with BCBS239 requirements and organized by filières (such as accounting, liquidity, regulatory capital, ESG, Performance management, credit risk, market & counterparty risk, operational risk …)
  • To organize and animate workshops with the filières in order to ensure BCBS 239 expectations are met, making sure of the adequate governance and main data quality KPIs are properly produced and delivered
  • To ensure the filières are contributing to the production of Senior Management Dashboard and to consolidate the synthesis of the dashboard
  • To ensure articulation between BCBS239 project and current Data Office organization by proposing new committees or modifying existing meetings and outputs around data quality KPIs and follow-up

MISSION

Group Regulatory Reporting Projects(GRRP) team oversees the implementation of OFS roll out program across thedifferent regions and business within the group. In parallel, in our pipelinewe have as well several finance projects related with regulatory changes orbusiness requirements.

The main responsibility of this roleis to implement, coordinate and follow up projects related to/impactingFinancial Accounting and Reporting systems as well as to provide FunctionalFinance Systems expertise on the BAU, at regional level, with respect toSystems settings and their impact on Finance activity. The main program todaywithin the scope of the team is the OFS Program (One Financial System). Theobjective of this program is the implementation of the OFS system as the mainaccounting ledger of the different BNP entities around the world. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Project scope definition (legacy understanding, analysis and impact assessment)

  • Contribute to Finance systems enhancement, standardization, automation and end-to-end systems data quality improvement
  • Ensuring the migration of the General Ledger of a BNP entity to the OFS System, in addition to the different reporting streams being fed from it (Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Credit Risk Reporting, Liquidity Reporting and Local Regulatory Reporting).
  • Coordinate and manage communication with the final users, as well as the preparation and the execution of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions with them.
  • Assist central teams with the study/deployment of changes to the Finance architecture in Europe (e.g. testing of new accounting interfaces or system enhancements in the Finance domain; validation of changes to the Finance architecture …)
  • Share best practices and homogenize solutions on tools across the Region
  • Support the production teams on the resolution of systems data quality issues in BAU mode  

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of banking activities and products
  • IT skills: Excel advanced user, Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Business Object…), database consultation (SQL…), PowerPoint. Knowledge of Finance tools and systems would be a plus.

ITTF Iberia platform is a shared service center, which provides services and resources on behalf of ITTF central department, and other ITG partners, in Spain and Portugal. ITTF Iberia platform ensures a common alignment in terms of strategy, operating model, IT standards with ITG beneficiaries, as well as, a full alignment with local and territory rules and stakeholders

The ITTF Department Office division ensures operational support for the entire department in key areas such as budgeting, sourcing, project portfolio management, and IT risk management. The division is also responsible for defining and coordinating governance, developing and monitoring the department’s IT strategy, as well as handling ad-hoc missions.

 

Report to

The position is within ITT&F Iberian Platform – Department Office in Madrid, under the supervision of ITT&F – Iberian Platform Department Office Head in Madrid, with functional link with ITT&F – Department Office – Cost Oversight & PPM Head in Paris.

 

Mission and Objectives 

The main objectives are:

  • Monitor, analyze and consolidate resourcing needs and consumption for projects and the run in coordination with PMO of Finance & Risk Solutions teams, and in alignment with official ITG Finance budget and actuals
  • Ensure figures split by clients / programs / funding and update the project portfolio
  • Partner with ITG Finance and with the sponsors (Finance, RISK and GDO/CDO) to explain resources consumption, calculate budget/forecast estimations and agree on funding and transfers

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Monthly reporting & closing, Budget preparation

  •  Ensure the respect of the guidelines and planning of figures closing and budget preparation
  • Provide a monthly synthetic reporting/analysis on figures evolution (both costs and HC)
  • Monitor / Control with the PMOs the different delivery expected (roadmap, HPA, …)
  • Establish punctual reportings on all Finance & Risk Solutions budget data
  • Contribute to the improvement and transformation of processes and governance within the activities of the team
  • Manage the relations with PMOs, Operationnals, ITG_Finance,…
  • Coverage Clients:
    • Follow the transfer process with the Client and ITG_Finance
      • Recover transfer needs from operational groups
      • Consolidate these needs for all Finance & Risk Solution (Onshore + Near/Offshore)
      • Monitor the correct execution of these transfers by Clients
      • Ensure the consistency between the Finance & Risk Solutions vision and the ITG-Finance vision
    • Provide a monthly status of the Clients
      • Review the status/achievements of the projects
      • Identify the main points/risks/alerts
      • Monitor / follow-up the remediation plans
      • Follow the detailed budget
      • Discuss on specific issues
    • Animate and produce the minutes of the different committees
    • Manage the relations with the funders (Finance & Strategy, RISK, Business lines)

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

The main missions of the IT Risk and Governance function are:

  • To provide ITTF with a methodological framework that allows controlling and improving the quality of the delivery of all ITTF divisions both for central and international perimeter. 
  • To sponsor, ensure and monitor de deployment of BNP Paribas IT Governance (V6) worldwide, which is a common IT Governance framework applicable to all IT entities within IT Group 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish with ITTF divisions a close collaboration partnership in order to implement good practices related to the methodology and quality framework of projects and applications life cycles

• Establish with ITTF divisions communication channels to Identify and implement relevant indicators to monitor the quality of the activity and the delivery of each group

• Guarantee the quality and the completeness of data managed within the quality framework in order to produce a monthly quality assessment reporting to ITTF IT Risk management

• Sponsor the execution of quality reviews (process maturity evaluations) by the ITTF divisions, and support the implementation of the resulting improvement plans

• Contribute to the simplification and optimization of the traditional methodology of projects and applications, for instance, with the deployment of Agile methods

• Contribute to the implementation of a Quality Community to communicate, share, train and promote continuous improvement around methods and quality 

• Contribute with OPC team to the annual OPC Controls execution on projects and applications

• Understand the main pillars of the IT Governance framework and contribute to the adaptation of procedures and processes to implement them within ITTF for central and international perimeter

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

 At least 3 years of previous work experience in Mergers & Acquisitions in a top tier investment bank, boutique, or a Big Four;

 • Demonstrate an understanding of the M&A product including transaction structuring and analysis, valuation, fairness opinions, capital increases, IPOs, etc;

 • Assume responsibility towards client satisfaction and helps develop client relationships at his/her level;

 • Capacity to develop autonomously market awareness and general business culture;

 • Modelling and valuation – knowledge of integrated financial statements models, comparable companies, comparable transactions, DCF, LBO models;

 • Express his/her messages in an effective, organized way, appropriate to the audience being addressed;

 • IT literacy in Microsoft Office and experience in using investment banking databases (e.g. Factset, Dealogic, Bloomberg) ;

• Willing to assume greater or new responsibilities (on the job / within the team);

 • Demonstrate clear motivation to get things done and achieve results within the constraints defined;

 • Strong capacity to support and foster a culture of good conduct;

MISSION
 

LOD2 Controls ensure the consistent and documented approach in term of Risk Based definition and Independent check and challenge methodology within the scope covered.

It provides guidance and leadership on key financial risk and associated control framework to Finance management.

It identifies risk areas and provide proactive measures to respond to the risks and implements the EMEA Finance strategy expanding Madrid regional platform capabilities and developing a new Control methodology.

It develops a governance structure adapted to the new organization.

LOD2 Controls provides short-term and medium-term Control 2nd LoD roadmaps in synchronization with Group internal plans, with Industry best practices and regulations.

 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 

LOD2 Analyst develops and sustains the Control 2nd LoD framework by:

Performing the independent challenge of the identification and assessment of the accounting and financial information risks and of the mitigation framework of the LoD 1 (including Finance own LoD 1 process)

• Independent challenge of controls,

• Assessment of 1st line of defense control set up quality

• Supervision of the elementary certification from SMS

• Check of the application of Accounting Controls Group procedure

• Closure of External Auditors recommendations based on their Check Challenge

 Reporting and participating to the decision-making process through:

• Reporting and quarterly synthesis to the related perimeters and to the Group Finance Management (FORCC Committee notably)

• Provide to entity’s CFO/CFO Office a synthesis of the risk assessment through certification process (all phases)

• Review of entities main certificates

• Controls and independent reviews if and where necessary,

• Participation to the accounting projects

 Steer or participate to remediation programs. To rely on specific control expertise and transversal view, LoD2 can exceptionally take part to the steering of remediation program as observer or as an actor when residual risk us deemed severe. This participation will be framed by specific request/validation to the regional CFO.

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

The Financial Statements analyst deploys operationally the regulation and normative instructions on his/her operational scope.

Based on the data delivered by the Finance SMS, he/she produces the reporting, specific analysis and ad-hoc requests.

He/she ensures quarterly production of his/her scope of entities reporting for BNPP’s financial statements consolidation, and answer to ad hoc requests from Group and external Auditors or other stakeholders supervised by his/her TL. He/she ensures on time and accurate different pack of financial and regulatory reporting related to his/her stream.

He/she participates to actions plans to solve data quality issues. He/she participates into new projects inquiries (regulatory and other).

ACTIVITIES

Performs reconciliations to ensure consistency of data with accounting source.

Performs overall controls and analytical review, as any other relevant analysis.

Contributes to projects by providing expertise on reporting issues.

Finance control & Data quality missions are embedded in the role:

  • Review controls and document how they are performed.
  • Delivers synthesis, raise alerts and action plans.
  • Is accountable for the entity quality of financial data used.
  • Oversights of the quality of the static data received from Referential officers (counterparties, securities, …)
