Telecom Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Telecom Engineer, you will join the EMEA Campus network group to manage the production, monitoring, and engineering of the CIB European campus network services. Based in Spain, you will support network infrastructures across various EMEA countries within a hybrid work model.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee wired, Wi-Fi, and datacenter network infrastructures to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Manage daily operational tasks for the Campus network.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure equipment and manage service contracts.
• Lead the design and deployment of new sites and technologies.
• Communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout EMEA.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• Languages: High level of fluency in Spanish (C level) and good proficiency in English (B2/C level).

Business Skills

• Solid understanding of networking, routing, and switching.
• Cisco LAN certifications (CCNP Enterprise, CCS-ECORE, CCS-EAI).
• Cisco WLAN and EKAHAU certifications (CCS-EWD, CCS-EAI, ECSE).

Transversal & Behavioral Skills

• Proficiency in LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately log and track incidents from detection to resolution.
